Old car rims, jewelry or the like can be melted down, but you never know exactly what material you have in front of you.
In many applications it is important to have a clean and homogeneous casting and for this it is important to use a base material that is as "pure" as possible.
 
We sell the sections by weight (per kg). 42 strips correspond to approximately one kg. Picture 2 shows about 0.4 kg in a 2 kg crucible (the crucible is not included).
