There is no general answer to this question... it depends on what equipment you have and what you want to cast.There are hardly any limits to your creative freedom.
You only need a sensible basic set of equipment to get started.A crucible or a "casting spoon" is often enough as a base.
Reading something easy to understand is always advisable, and a YouTube video can also help you understand the basics.

Properties moulding sand:
Application: Pound sand quite hard. With joint surfaces always use parting powder. Pour metal slowly into mould and vent. Leave the cast as long as possible in the mould. The surface will be smoother and the sand will last longer.
Sieve ø 380 mm:
for sieving moulding sand, frame reinforced made of galavanized steel, extra strong iron wire, mesh size 3 mm.
Talc powder:
Fine talc to form the separating layer of the mold between the bottom and cope.
Moulding box:
two-piece construction, each 80 mm high, solid welded construction with accurately fitting bolts,
inner face moulded to avoid sand from falling out.
Shovel-type sleeker:
Forged steel, lancet end 30 x 17 mm, shovel end 27 x 13 mm, total length 150 mm.
Ideal for post-processing or free-forming in the sand.
