Gas forges
First and foremost, a distinction is made between gas forges and gas forging ovens.
Gas forges are usually stationary and open at the top. These are powered by propane or natural gas.
Gas forging ovens have a closed design and are more flexible to handle. These are often used for mobile applications. They are powered by propane gas because the atmospheric burner requires a higher gas pressure.
Gas or coal?
One could philosophize about this topic for a long time. Depending on the application, installation location, exhaust gas routing and handling, there are advantages and disadvantages for each of the two systems. We are happy to help you make your individual decision. This discussion will probably remain with us all for a long time and will be part of the chicken or the egg?!
density 3,5 g/cm³ per kg The chips are ideal for use in gas ovens or gas forges. They can protect the inner insulation in gas ovens. This can also effectively protect brittle or sensitive insulation wool. The chips prevent direct contact of the workpiece with the oven insulation and compensate for unevenness. , ready for connection to 11 kg gas bottles with regulator, manometer, hose burst safety device and 2 m hose for atmospheric gas forges, like PS-230, Proforge, P-301/P-302 For connecting to gas cylinders and regulating the pressure of gas appliances. Gas hose with 3/8" LH connection Advantages: Combination connection for 5.11 or 33 kg gas cylinders robust, tested hose Precise gas pressure regulation Precise adjustment via pressure gauge Long service life EU type-tested UKCA type-tested Including hose rupture protection Max. permissible pressure 16 bar A wide variety of gas pressure regulators are available online, even on a budget. These are usually "cheaply manufactured" and do not meet European safety requirements or the specifications of professional associations. The "CE" stands for "Chinese Export," and these regulators are not permitted for use and pose a safety risk. Our regulators are produced by a reputable manufacturer who tests the medium-pressure regulators after final assembly. These regulators continue to function reliably even after extended periods of use.
