We have been producing blacksmith fires since 1965. Hans Angele (1922-2016), the grandfather of the current owner Niklas Wespel, started in 1948 in his small workshop for agricultural machinery. Everything that was needed in the village was repaired or produced. Gradually, we have focused entirely on blacksmithing technology and, in addition to our coal forge fires, have developed various new products of our own, such as the gas forge stove and a cyclone soot separator.

Over the years, we have expanded our product range so that we now offer the complete program for the artisan blacksmith. Whether you are a craftsman needing a replacement for your old fire bowl, a hobby blacksmith looking for basic equipment including a field forge, hammer, and blacksmith's tongs, or a vocational school setting up a complete training forge - with us, you get everything from a single source.

When compiling our program, we place the highest value on quality and also consider "soft" factors such as environmental and sustainability aspects in production and transport. In our warehouse, we also have some "rarities" that financial analysts would have long since eliminated from the program based on modern inventory turnover criteria. We consciously buck the current trend here, as our products are and should be durable, and you, as our customers, should still be able to get individual parts for your forges even after years.
