Ground coat Schuppenpanzer P 750 ml grey   SCHUPPENPANZER-Unigrund P is a quick-drying universal thickness layer coat containing corrosion-protective pigments which is used for application on steel, zinc and aluminium.   Unigrund P is a base material for paint systems offering long-term corrosion protection. The material consists of elastic, non-ageing binding agents based on plastic co-polymerisates with corrosion-protective pigments and is heat resistant up to 80 °C or 60 °C constant exposure. Thickness layer application (80 to 100 µm per phase of operation) leads to a reduction of working time.   After drying, Schuppenpanzer-Unigrund P may be re-coated with solvent-based one- and two-component paints based on various raw materials.   SCHUPPENPANZER-Unigrund P is used as a thickness layer primer on surfaces consisting of steel, zinc, aluminium and rigid PVC, e.g. for industrial plants, steel constructions, pipelines, halls, garage gates, fences, modern and antique wrought-irons works.   Coverage approx. 5 m²/l at a dry film thickness of 80 to 100 µm

Schuppenpanzer Zinkschutz, 1 kg is applied as a protection coating for objects subject to heavy corrosion as well as for the repair of damaged galvanised surfaces. Coverage approx. 5 m²/kg at a dry film thickness of 40 µm   Characteristics: easy processing can be reworked with materials from a wide variety of raw material bases approx. 93% zinc in the dry film = permanent corrosion protection   SCHUPPENPANZER-Zinkschutz, a zinc protection coat, effectively protects iron against corrosion, even without subsequent re-coating. The material’s high metallic zinc content guarantees cathodic protection.    Due to the material’s electro-chemical corrosion protection, no subsurface corrosion occurs should the coating be damaged.  Two-layer application is advisable for objects with strong surface roughness.

It removes flux residues and oxidation products such as rust stains, has an active cleaning effect and removes dirt, soot, grease and oil. It passivates and phosphates so that paints adhere better. This process prevents the paint from peeling off prematurely.   Application: Dilute the zinc cleaner in a ratio of 1:10 to 1:20 with cold water. Then apply with a brush or brush to the surface to be cleaned, Leave on for about 5 minutes and rinse with clean water. If the soiling is very severe, the process must be repeated. Dry well after cleaning.     Notice: Zinc Cleaner Forte must not come into contact with acid-sensitive materials such as marble. When cleaning, always proceed gradually to prevent drying during the exposure time. Carry out a preliminary test in a hidden location.

This is then held over a soot-free fire and slowly heated. This causes stuck-on carbon to decompose on the surface. First a brown, then a black, sticky color is created. This process can be repeated until the desired depth of coloring is achieved. This method protects the workpiece from corrosion. Suitable for all metals, copper, brass, bronze, and much more.   Notice: The OIL can be applied with a brush or cloth. Shake the bottle well before use and close it properly after use.     Photo 4 shows a grill fork blackened or burned black with blacksmith oil. The staining was created in 2 passes.
