Il existe une grande variété de fabricants et de types de bandes abrasives. Le « fermoir », c’est-à-dire le point de connexion, est également crucial pour un déroulement et un maintien optimaux du bracelet. Nous nous limitons ici à deux fabricants bien connus:

VSM - courroies universelles (bonnes performances d'enlèvement et durée de vie sur surfaces fines)
3M - Cubitron II et Cubitron III (taux d'enlèvement de matière et durée de vie extrêmes)

Les courroies de grain 40 à 80 sont fournies avec une attache superposée très stable. Les bandes avec une granulométrie de 80 et plus sont collées ensemble et fonctionnent donc « sans choc ».
