FORGE Peter Reisinger

Peter Reisinger, born in 1979, grew up with the blacksmith trade in his father's business. He passed the master blacksmith examination with distinction in 2002. He has always been keen to design and carry out the blacksmithing work himself. The roots of the blacksmith trade in the Reisinger family go back to 1641. The knowledge passed down from generation to generation and the new possibilities of metal design are implemented and implemented.

In the Reisinger forge, tradition is preserved and at the same time always strives for something new. This combination of old and new is a guarantee for constant further development. The Reisinger forge is located in Reichenstein/Upper Austria, in the heart of the lower Mühlviertel. The family business combines tradition and innovation in a modernly equipped forge.

On the basis of “small and fine”, high-quality work is carried out in the autonomous forge.
Giving the hot iron the desired character with imagination and willpower and thus creating memories and uniqueness for generations to come is his motivation. Every work is a personal one-off, with the head and the heart, holistically thought through. Perfection, quality and the language of religious-spiritual symbolism guide his daily work and keep it alive.
