Punch for hammers
forged of quality hot work steel W303, smoothed,
length about 280 mm,
for punching holes according to DIN.
This forged tool enables easy punching and thorning of blanks according to DIN.
The thorn is forged and ground in such a way that the different "eye measurements" of the hammer head are reflected on the different lengths of the thorn.
This makes thorning easy and you get the desired eye measurement to match the hammer handles with great repeatability.
Figure 2 shows the hammer thorn and a hammer blank forged with it. The hammer blank is not included in the scope of delivery.
These special tools are forged by hand in the Reisinger forge in the heart of the lower Mühlviertel in Austria to the highest quality standards.
