Ground coat Schuppenpanzer P 750 ml grey SCHUPPENPANZER-Unigrund P is a quick-drying universal thickness layer coat containing corrosion-protective pigments which is used for application on steel, zinc and aluminium. Unigrund P is a base material for paint systems offering long-term corrosion protection. The material consists of elastic, non-ageing binding agents based on plastic co-polymerisates with corrosion-protective pigments and is heat resistant up to 80 °C or 60 °C constant exposure. Thickness layer application (80 to 100 µm per phase of operation) leads to a reduction of working time. After drying, Schuppenpanzer-Unigrund P may be re-coated with solvent-based one- and two-component paints based on various raw materials. SCHUPPENPANZER-Unigrund P is used as a thickness layer primer on surfaces consisting of steel, zinc, aluminium and rigid PVC, e.g. for industrial plants, steel constructions, pipelines, halls, garage gates, fences, modern and antique wrought-irons works.
