Ground coat Schuppenpanzer P 750 ml

SCHUPPENPANZER-Unigrund P is a quick-drying universal thickness layer coat containing corrosion-protective pigments which is used for application on steel, zinc and aluminium.
Unigrund P is a base material for paint systems offering long-term corrosion protection. The material consists of elastic, non-ageing binding agents based on plastic co-polymerisates with corrosion-protective pigments and is heat resistant up to 80 °C or 60 °C constant exposure. Thickness layer application (80 to 100 µm per phase of operation) leads to a reduction of working time.
After drying, Schuppenpanzer-Unigrund P may be re-coated with solvent-based one- and two-component paints based on various raw materials.
SCHUPPENPANZER-Unigrund P is used as a thickness layer primer on surfaces consisting of steel, zinc, aluminium and rigid PVC, e.g. for industrial plants, steel constructions, pipelines, halls, garage gates, fences, modern and antique wrought-irons works.
Coverage approx. 5 m²/l at a dry film thickness of 80 to 100 µm
Schuppenpanzer Zinkschutz, 1 kg
is applied as a protection coating for objects subject to heavy corrosion as well as for the repair of damaged galvanised surfaces.
Coverage approx. 5 m²/kg at a dry film thickness of 40 µm
Characteristics:
easy processing
can be reworked with materials from a wide variety of raw material bases
approx. 93% zinc in the dry film = permanent corrosion protection
SCHUPPENPANZER-Zinkschutz, a zinc protection coat, effectively protects iron against corrosion, even without subsequent re-coating. The material’s high metallic zinc content guarantees cathodic
protection.
Due to the material’s electro-chemical corrosion protection, no subsurface corrosion occurs should the coating be damaged. Two-layer application is advisable for objects with strong surface
roughness.
