Usage:
Use the rubbing stone to create a unique, natural sharpening paste on your blue bench stone or Pyrenean sandstone.
Simply apply a little water to the bench stone and move the rubbing stone in a circular motion. The friction combines the water, slate, and naturally embedded garnets (spessartines) to form a fine sharpening paste.
This paste stays on the surface of the dense natural stone, providing the perfect base for easily and efficiently sharpening your knives and tools. After sharpening, you can simply rinse the paste off with water.
