She Blades - Solingen (Germany)
The exhibition "She Blades" at the German Blade Museum brings together handmade pieces by international female knifemakers: From established stars of the scene to young up-and-coming smiths, from practical pocket knives to playful art objects, the show presents current perspectives on the subject of knives and celebrates women's contributions to the art of knifemaking.

Anne-Juliette Tanguy (FR), Chantal Gilbert (CA), Kelly Vermeer-Vella (US), Pascale Sabaté (FR), Pola Malandain (AT), Silvana Mouzinho (BR), Sylvie Pauliac (FR), Anneta Ameryk (PL), Zoe Potter (USA), and Sophie Fauré (FR)
The “She Blades” project was initiated by Pola Malandain, a knifemaker from Vienna (www.she-blades.com).
