He was not only a great blacksmith and designer also he was a "world traveler" in the interest of blacksmithing. He gave coursest on almost every continent and set fire to the modern metal design and  young people.   Alfred Habermann had a wealth of experience in the artisanal production of perfect forging tools. He analyzed the requirements for the tool and the conditions of the human body. This resulted in a series of ergonomically optimized and functional tools, which we manufacture and sell exclusively in small batches.

    The English form of the locksmith's hammer is also called an "Ingenieurhammer" in Germany. However, this name originated from a mistranslation of the English term "engineer," which in this context actually referred to a mechanic or machinist.

Hofi-Hammer alloy tool steel (CrMo) weight of hammer head 1.3 kg, hammer face approx. 43x43 mm, slightly molded, hickory handle, designed by Uri Hofi   Uri Hofi developed and optimized the classic hammer shape. This well balanced hammer enables ergonomic and less tiring forging. The hammer head is glued into the handle. The elastic glue dampens shocks that occur during the impact and protects the wrist. We manufacture the Hofi hammer in excellent quality from high-strength tool steel.   Uri Hofi learned the traditional forging technique from Alfred Habermann. On this basis and through further analyzes, he developed his own ergonomic forging techniques.
